Healing Through Art: The Pink October Kintsugi Team Building Workshop with Vinci Energies

This October, we had the joy of bringing The Art Station experience to Vinci Energies for a very special Pink October team-building art workshop, one that beautifully blended creativity, symbolism, and awareness.

Kintsugi Workshop in Morocco

To mark this important month dedicated to breast cancer awareness, we chose to center the session around the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. In Kintsugi, every crack becomes part of an object’s story, turning what was once broken into something even more beautiful.

For this workshop, we designed custom bowls shaped like breasts, a symbolic and heartfelt nod to the cause. Each participant was invited to reflect on the themes of healing, resilience, and self-acceptance while engaging with the process of mending.

Team Building Art Workshops Across Morocco

We traveled from Rabat to Casablanca to host the workshop within Vinci Energies’ offices, where we were warmly welcomed by a group of 26 inspiring women. After walking them through the history and philosophy of Kintsugi, we guided them step by step through the technique, from preparing the broken pieces to sealing them with gold.

What followed was a truly special moment of connection and creativity. As the bowls came back together, glimmering with golden lines, so did conversations, laughter, and shared reflections. It was an emotional and empowering experience for everyone involved.

We left feeling deeply grateful, not only for the opportunity to contribute to Pink October in a meaningful way, but also for the chance to connect with such an amazing group of women.

Workshops like this remind us why we do what we do at The Art Station: to use art as a bridge… bringing people together, sparking conversations, and creating space for healing and expression.
